Meeting For Worship with the Concern for Business
Meeting for Worship with the Concern for Business takes place at Menallen Meetinghouse on the second Sunday of the month following Meeting for Worship. It starts at noon after a potluck lunch and fellowship.
Business Meeting is held in the spirit of Quaker worship. We discuss the spiritual state of Menallen Friends, financial obligations, maintenance, outreach initiatives, and upcoming events. Friends make decisions based upon a "sense of the Meeting" and all opinions are heard and considered. We are convened by The Clerk of the Meeting, a volunteer who leads the business meetings and is a point person for communications to and by the meeting.
